Action-Adventure 'Jungle Cruise' Movie starring The Rock and Emily Blunt

This has exactly what I wanted from it. Jungle, ancient ruins, underwater action, the Rock, Mary Poppins...
I‘m in day 1 - cinema or Premiere Access

Looks fun and entertaining.
D.Johnson has charm and charisma even in mediocre movie such as Journey to the Center of the Earth and can even be serious if required (not often but still, see Faster).

This looks really fun. I love the drawn poster. And I’m excited to see Disney’s sixth first gay character!

My first thought on hearing about this film was that it would wind up trapped in the shadow of Jumanji. Now that I've seen the trailer, it feels more like they just want to slap a new coat of paint on Pirates of the Caribbean.

I'm sure it'll be moderately entertaining but I'd rather just rewatch CotBP.

According to IMDb the movie is over two and a half hours. So it will probably feel just as bloated as some of the PotC-sequels

I guess this will also be our first inclination for how Black Adam will turn out considering it's a reunion with director Jaume Collet-Serra and Dwayne Jonhson.

Emily looks amazing in this, so I will definitely be watching it. It definitely has some serious Mummy vibes.

I think it looks like a fun throwback type of film. The new poster is awesome, like a classic 1980s Drew Struzan type poster.

I almost don't recognize Jack Whitehall with that haircut.

Same.

Double same. One of my favorites. My father took my brother and I to the $2 show to see it like 10 times. I fell hard for Rachel Weisz.

Oh yeah that was really her breakout role, and the sequel, despite its problems, I think she's grown because she's become fierce and more experienced. Also the late great Jerry Goldsmith basically doing Indiana Jones with the score. It's pretty awesome.

The score for the movie was so damn good, it speaks volumes that if you had swapped Rick for Indiana Jones that the movie would easily be an awesome Indy entry.

It will make money due to the rock being in it, but, will it make money a week or so after opening?

Its been too long since we had a fim like this. I just hope its good.

Oh man The Mummy is so damn fun. Watched the hell out of it. Love that film. Even The Mummy 2 is good fun.
