These reactions are very encouraging. I'll be seeing this tomorrow afternoon and am officially hyped!

Wouldn't be a proper JP movie without annoying kids!

Why would anyone go see a movie they are loving forward stoned or blazed up? Seems really stupid and immature. Had a bunch of teen pot heads ruin a few movies for me because they showed up stoned and felt the need to add a cometary track and off color jokes to the movie.

I think you're stigmatizing pot smokers here, Which is understandable, but still a stigma.
I was stoned when I saw this movie. Loved, and remembered every minute of it. And I was definitely one of the few more respectful people there

What trailers played in front of JW, by the way? :oldrazz:

Awesome, glad you have seen it and liked it ANE.

You'll see my thoughts in this thread tomorrow. :cwink:

Yeah, tomorrow i'll post more of a thought out & thorough post, but it's great! Can't wait to see it. Dat green button tho :awesome:

Am I the only one who didn't mind the kids?

They were both annoying, but the older one pissed me off way more, which surprised me.

The kids were certainly undercooked (along with a few other things), and yes, I found the older one much more annoying than the younger one. But outside a couple of lines, I didn't find them terrible.

Yeah, it makes me uncomfortable to watch a movie like this and fantasize about the slow, painful death of a teenager at the teeth of a dinosaur.

The kids imo wasn't terrible I mean I I lost world had the worst kid ever in these movies.

That being said got back from the movie loved it I would give it a 8 out of 10.

Just watched it. It's nowhere near as good as the first one but leaps and bounds better than the other sequels. It didn't really feel like a Jurassic Park movie though. The tone was completely different than any of the previous films but it worked on it's own terms. For me, they succeeded in making me feel nostalgic, making me cheer, tugging at my heart strings and suprising me.

All I can really hope for now is to end the franchise. This movie paid immense homage to the first film and ended with a bang. Can't imagine any other sequel feeling as fresh and satisfying as this one.

Question for people that have seen the movie in 3d How is the 3d? I saw Jurassic park in 3d back in 2013 for its 20 years and the 3d was great one of the best effects of 3d I have ever seen before. Does this movie look good in 3d to? Also is all IMAX 3d? Or are there 2d and 3d IMAX?

Very well done, IMO. It didn't always stand out, but it's modern 3D, which as James Cameron pointed out well, is all about adding depth to movies so you feel a bit more invested in what you're watching, instead of having things pop out at you. There was a little of that, too, but I think the 3D really added something to the movie. Especially the final battle.

It's take it or leave it, though. Not crucial, but if you're like me and enjoy some well done 3D to add more realistic depth to what you're watching, it was quite nice. Probably one of the better movies to use it on my list.

If it makes over 120 ow which people are projecting it won't be.

Great movie. Some sub-plots were either unecessary or poorly executed, but overall it was a fun ride. I too hope they end the series here.

I don't see where the story could go from here.

Even though I have yet to see the movie I have heard it is supost to be the first of a new trilogy and I don't really see what else they can really do that is not just going to be a crap movie like 3 and fell like they just made it to make more money.

While I want to see it in 3d because I prefer to see any movie in 3d but the thing is ever one I know doesn't like 3d and that really sucks. Also I almost went and saw the movie tonight but the thing is I am going to see this with a friend who is coming up to vist in a week or so and probly with my mom so had I seen it tonight I would probly have went 3 times. If I do want I will probly see it just twice and not get to see it in 3d. I really need some friends that like 3d takes all the buzz out of movies when ever one I know hates 3d lol.
