Anyone think that he title has to do with a new park someone is building in the new movie? Like Disney World.
For the record, I like JP 3 MUCH more than Lost World. JP 3 was a high budget B movie, and it worked for me because it didn't try to be anything more. Lost World, which I HATE, tried and failed miserably. The so-called "heroes" are a bunch of self-righteous hypocrites who prattle on and on about respecting life and nature, etc, but their actions, sometimes deliberate actions, are constantly getting people killed. Despite this, the movie still wants the audience to support them, I didn't, the hunters and mercenaries were the true heroes of that movie imo.
But the global threat route does make sense considering majority of the dinos can't get off the island... And don't stand a chance against modern weaponry. Its a terrible concept.
Im saying the idea is stupid
And that the pteronidons flying off to repopulate will probably be ignored so why try to do it again?
Were-dinos? Or Vamposaurs? Not if every human a dino bites becomes a dino himself! Oscar!

This is what I always wanted to see, I love this concept art of it. View image for full resolutionI hope that there are sea beasts in this film, finally. There are plenty to choose from, that could be very threatening. I don't know if Mr. Spielberg considers that a non-starter for the sake of avoiding any "Jaws" comparisons, but it should be dealt with in some form.
Apparently the test footage was for a cancelled JP Game, from what I hear, but here it is.

Flying and Aquatic dinossaurs can get out of the Island whenever they want, and they can multiply very fast. Catching dinossaurs on land is one thing, but the flying and aquatic ones is another, not only would they present a threat to planes and boats, but they would also be more tricky to catch and destroy.
Why ignore? It wasn't a bad foreshadowing, takes the series into other directions and ignoring ideas that weren't bad to begin with just bring unwanted continuity problems.

Dark HorizonsA few hours ago a reported pitch trailer for the film leaked online. Said trailer was part of a presentation at a recent "Star Wars" convention. It got to the point that even producer Frank Marshall commented saying it's "not part of the movie."
Turns out there's a good reason the visual effects look weak - the whole clip is actually for a video game of the same name, a game that never came to be.
Frank Marshall was saying on Twitter it was pitch footage, but not part of the film. I'm inclined to believe the idea, since even though they changed the species, the Pteranodon swarm attacking the mainland has been in a couple JP scripts since 2004.
Yup it's pitch footage. IMO I'm of the opinion it's actually about dinosaurs populating on the mainland rather than the park up and running. Way more potential than the latter
... yes Aquatic and the few flying dinos that existed can... but A) what's a jurassic park movie without raptor and the t-rex?
and B) I think you really need the land dinos to make the movie still feel like a dinosaur movie... Im thrilled to have some water dinos.. but i don't want them to be the only ones in the film or the focus
as for ignoring them? what are the 3 pteranodon's going to do? be air transport for dinos? some how these giant birds re-populate in swarms that no one can seem to find on radar? you can't make a movie out of people shooting missles at dinos.. and it sounds like a ridiculous movie.
they may acknowledge the released pteranodon's like in the pitch video that was released today... but i don't expect that to be the basis of the film

I don't doubt it ended up being used for a cancelled JP game, I mean it had to be considering the font and whatnot. But I still imagine it had its roots in JPIV.
Also, Trevorrow confirmed on his Twitter Phil Tippet is back for dinosaur effects.
