Just a theory...

Hello Everyone,
I just started thinking about the movie and what we have learned so far and the pics we have seen and kinda threw this together .....it's just a thought and was curious to think what others think .....here goes... The newest pics show peter in his black suit and looking not really his best ,unkept .kind of sad and wearing the new black suit. Maybe the reason he his wearing the new black suit is because he is in mourning of possibly losing someone in his life,someone major...I don't know who but maybe the black suit is just a metaphorical thing for his mourning and if someone big is gone from his life (aside from uncle ben) it could explain why he looks unkept as well.....maybe they went the Gwen Stacey route with MJ or maybe the Gwen Stacey in this new movie is killed and peter has to suffer the loss of a loved one again. What do you guys think?

It's about the suit taking over him, that's why he looks like that. It's not about him losing someone.

This is a good theory. He does look sad. I agree with you, maybe he loses somebody, I would guess MJ or Gwen.

Good theory, but i don't think it will happen.

Here is my theory. Brock will get pictures of spider-man without the black suit. Peter will come in with pictures but JJJ will say i found somebody else to take pictures of spider-man you're fired. Pete will get Symbiote black suit and will take pictures of those to JJJ. This will enrage Eddie. JJJ will get suspicious of parker and will send Eddie out to find out why mary jane left for him rather than is son and find out what is connection with Spider-Man is. Eddie follows him around but can't find the connection between them. He will finally get to him at the end with his battle with Sandman at the church. Pete defeats him or kills him. His mask comes of and to eddie surprise it is Pete. Green Goblin comes in to fight Spider-man and one if GG bombs will hit the church bell causing debris to fall on eddie knocking him out. Symbiote comes off and goes to Eddie, Venom is born. Venom will then kick SM butt untill GG helps him out dying in the process. Symbiote is then captured and taken to Dr. Connors. Eddie goes to jail and meets Cletus Kassidy. Then during SM4 when Connors is changing to the lizard he will break everything in sight. Symbiote escapes untill SM6.

i havent been well kept on the spiderman news, does anybody know for sure that the suit is a symbiote and how is it going to be produced i.e man made, alien,.....thinking machine?

The symbiote takes over him and affects his thoughts. I don't think his change of style is a conscious decision so much as it is a visual representation of what the suit does to him.

I think its definetly something to do with the symbiote..Even though using the balck suit as a metaphor for his sadness or depression i honestly dont think its a credible thing to have in a storyline

these movies have so many frickin patterns ya know..

In every movie, you bet your ass Spidey will save someone from a burning building,

every movie MJ will get kidnapped.

And in the first 2 movies the villians were 'taken over', GG with the serum, and Ock with the tentacles. Now not saying Spiedy is a villian but same thing will happen with him I guess, being 'taken over' to change his personality and function hence the symbiote.

... I swear to god if MJ gets kidnapped again..

First off, the latest pictures (as of May 29) show Eddie talking to a somewhat skinny-looking Spider-Man. This is the same shoot with Cpt. Stacey holding on to a worried (and beautiful) Gwen. It could be the camera, or it could be a fake Spidey getting the real one in trouble, ... or not.

Also, I've been thinking that Eddie might do the same thing; don the Spidey suit in order to incriminate Spidey and/or get some snazzy photos to impress JJ

that could work and maybe jj finds out spidey's new suit is black so he fires Eddie for having fake pics.
