I don't think Spidey could take her, and I think BL's years of experience would make the difference.

I think he could. BL could maybe win that match. In truth I could see several matches going either way but if I had to pick a winner up front I would go with Marvels character for most of them.

Sadly probably true, Stranges power level is insane these days. Otherwise Speedblitz rules. We have guys on the JLA who move faster than thought.

That's basically what it comes down to for me, too. Super-speed is a highly potent ability in any fight, and most of the JLA's heavy-hitters have it while most of the Avengers' don't. If Thor had retained his super-speed past the early issues of his comic, I'd say the Avengers stand a chance, but without any real super-quick powerhouses to match the JLA's, they're toast.

Super-speed is a main factor, and Superman probably could beat most of the Avengers by himself. Therein lies the greatest power differential between Marvel and DC. DC's characters are almost all super-fast.

Actually Thor still has super speed, it's just not something the writters use much.

As far as the DC characters speed goes, Many of them have the ability to travel at high speed but that doesn't mean they're at thier best fighting at that speed. You'll notice when Superman, Wonder Woman or Captian Marvel are in thier toughest battles they almost never rely on speed. They mostly use there speed when someone needs saving or if thier enemy has a weapon they're vulnerable to they can avoid it or take it away but they hardly ever fight with speed. I've done martial arts, traditional and kickboxing, for over 20 years and when you use all your speed in your combos you sacrafice ALOT of power. I would picture most of DC's characters being in that situation except for Flash since all his power is rooted in speed.

True, but so is Hawkgirl vs. Spider-Man. Vixen is a better match for Spider-Man, so at least you'd only have one uneven match if you switched Hawkgirl and Vixen.

And sadly, if Strange were there, his power level has been written anymore to counteract people with superspeed since he can now make time pass differently for different people. Not that he couldn't do it before, but now it seems to be something not so hard for him.

If im not mistaken isnt the Sentry super, super-fast? If he's on the Avengers side, Id say hes definitly up on Supes level as far as speed goes. He could keep Supes balanced out for everyone else. I mean, didnt he simulataneously disarm multiple nukes in mid flight to their target around the world and survive a blast from the remaining one only to joke about it afterward? I really think Sentry, Thor, Cap, and even Ares are the key members for Marvel to pull it off... mix and match what you want.

DC's characters are more powerfull than Marvel characters, this doesn't make them more intresting to read, or better characters. In fact, I've always found Superman to be boaring because he's too powerfull. Maybe we should send them against the Thunderbolts.... I bet Radioactive Man could take out Superman pretty easily.

The only character who would ever appear in JLA that could take down a fully confident sentry is pre-crisis superman, otherwise, sentry would run amok and devastate the JLA!

Yea Radioactive Man would probably beable to take out Superman, he could give off radiation of a red sun, or kryptonite.
