K-PAX: Was Prot an Alien?

Just finished watching K-Pax, as I haven't' seen it in years.

The big question is was Prot and Alien sharing a body with Robert Porter, or was he a delusional Robert Porter?

What do you guys think?

I believe that the evidence of him being an alien are bigger than the evidence of him being delusional.

His knowledge of the universe (no way a smart farm boy know all this that the best astronomers on earht don't know) and his disappearance North and the disappearance of Beth. All point to him being and Alien.

If you go by the books then yes.
I say in the film he is due to his eyesight. Everything else is something a human could do.
