Karr will not be charged in Jon Bonet Ramsay's death.

It's not about being scared, it's about knowing what the likely results will be.

I think it was a big mistake dropping the charges. for the dna on the underwear probably wasn't that of her attacker. Investigators years ago went and bought a pair of the exact same underwear and tested it for DNA and foundD DNA on it. it was getting on that brand of udnerwear through packaging and handling and things like that. so you would expect some DNA to be there that is not of the attacker. Not to mention even if this guy is innocent chances are he has molested other children, and if he was being prosecuted the odds of that being dug up and proven are a lot better. Not to mention that S.B.T.C. is a heck of a coincedence. I think he did do it. and I think the prosecution would have won.

He is being charged in a separate case regarding child pornography. However, the DNA he provided DID NOT match what they had in regard to the Ramsey case. Therefore, they let him go. It would have been a mistake to go ahead and prosecute him for something he didn't do since none of his DNA was there, and it has been proven that he was in Georgia with his family for Christmas back in '96.

His DNA wouldn't be there even if he was guilty. He had sex with her, but it was using a paintbrush handle and not his penis. They knew this for years. The DNA on the underwear was not semen, and it was not from her attacker. The DNA is completely irrelevant. There's no point in even talking about it.

How do you know he had sex with her? Were you there?

There's no point in talking about it since Karr didn't do it.

The burden of proof was on the state and they didn't have any proof to say he did it

Karr was using SBTC as his signature before Ramsey was even killed. Not only that, but he used it as his signature on the ransom note. the odds of that being a coincedence have got to be one in millions.

His handwriting is a match. He confessed. by themselves they might not be proof, but added together it's a strong case. stronger than the overwhelming majority of sexual assault cases of America. Usually they are convicted when all the prosecutor proved is that it's possible they are guilty, rather than proven guilty, while this freak Karr goes free.

How do I know? Forensics science. She was raped with a paint brush handle. you know they can look at a vagina and tell if these kind of things happened to it rescently. there is bruising and other evidence as well.

Edit... I guess the DNA was on her body, where as I thought it was her underwear, and that would really leave the prosecutor no choice but to drop the case.

besides I'm sure he'd have accepted a plea agreement. He already confessed.

But since there was nothing but a confession, no positive match on the DNA, and the fact that when she was killed he was in Georgia with his family for Christmas, the confession is nothing but a false one.

Now, until there is a method where one person can be in 2 places at the same time, or that transporter technology exists outside of Star Trek, it's a sure thing that this nut isn't the killer

Yeah, we all know Bill Clinton is the one who really did it. He likes 'em young. ;)

No. A reinterpretation of the purpose of marriage in the States affects Jonty in Canada.

How do you figure that? YOU'RE not gonna marry another guy because some law tells OTHER people that it's ok. A "re-interpretation" (as if the enitre history of planet earth has regarded marraige in the same way) will not affect YOU, your wife, or whatever hellspawn children you manage to produce.

Doesn't affect you at all.

But what if Jonty is secretly gay, and gay marriage becoming legal will make him come out of the closet against his will? :( ;)

At least that argument makes more sense than his... :o

Gay marriage is SO passe. Being bi myself, I'm working on polygamy, so that I can marry both my bf AND my gf! ;) :p

not sure if you saw how I edited the post, but come on, they can not prove his parents were telling the truth about him being in Georgia.

It was plenty thick, but I could only give you a D- in creativity.

Nor could they prove that he was in Colorado on December 25th, 1996!

Hence, no case!!!
