Keanu as Plastic man

No.

We need a comedic actor.

Jim Carey was born to play Eel O'Brien.

Plastic Man's been getting a little edgier over the last few years. I can see what they're thinking. Anything to see a PLASTIC MAN movie. :)

...and it would be kind for a different kind of comic book adaptation. And that's why I love Warner Bros' approach as opposed to Marvel's! :D

would be interesting and it all counts on how they want to take the character.

Guard:

Keanu isn't edgy.

I didn't say Keanu is edgy. I said "Plastic Man is getting edgier". He's also a complete goofball.

I would love to see Keanu lose that serious persona in something like this! It would really be mindblowing to see a 43th years old Keanu doing something Ted-like again.

Jim Carrey

The role was made for Jim Carrey or vice versa. Here is the intro the the 1979 cartoon that he (Plastic Man) had:

Keanu would be better as Wooden Man.

See, because he's such a wooden actor.
Ha. ha. ha...

they won't make this movie any time soon. Damn Wb:(

yea that is likely true but maybe if things are turning around with wb/dc with their talks they are having and they get the right people on board for the hero films maybe we will be finally seeing, ww/flash/gl/shazam/jonah hex/green arrow/etc...... solo films finally get out of developmental hell and actually filming.

Yeah my best choice is definately Jim Carey as Plastic Man. He was taylor-made for the role.

Yea i would love to see jim as the character it would probably fit his comedic/zanyness. But who knows if he would want to touch a superhero movie any more.

I can't see Reeves as Plastic-Man. If he's going to be portrayed it should be by someone with a longer career in comedy, especially physical comedy.

Carrey would've been perfect but I think he's moved away from doing the type of outlandish physical humor that Plas is known for.

My personal choice would be Matthew Lillard.

2 things wrong with that vid. 1)Plastic man can not fly and 2)I didn't see whoozy Winks anywhere.

1) Sure he can fly (if he shoots himself like a slingshot or shapes himself like a glider).

2) This is another example of an adaptation. Woozy Winks was replaced by Penny, (Bad Luck) Hula-Hula, and The Chief. It was common in those types of shows to have ensembles of threes or fours (ala "Funky Phantom", "Jabber Jaw" and "Speed Buggy") and the addition of the two other characters added diversity. There is nothing wrong with that.

All great choices. I've read the Plastic-Man script and it was pretty good. Needed more action though but it was on point.

Yeah the one by the Watchoski Bros.

You mean this one?

And In my opinion, I don't think this film should be green-lit without someone like Jim Carrey, Steve Carrell, or Ben Stiller in the lead role (in that order). Also it should be an R-rated comedy.
