I'm not too sure about this idea, I don't want another spidey movie unless Raimi & his crew along with Tobey Maguire, Kristen Dunst & the rest of the remaining cast continue .

I really don't want to see The spidey franchise go thought the same crap like The BATMAN franchise did before BATMAN BEGINS or The SUPERMAN franchise did before SUPERMAN RETURNS, because the studio's didn't know when to quit and all they cared about was making money .

I don't think Raimi is the only director that can make a good Spider-man movie. Raimi has done a terrific job with Spidey thus far, and looks to deliver part 3 with the same excellence he did with the previous 2 films. However, just because he is successful with Spidey doesn't mean he's the only one who can.

Burton once thought to be the only director who can do Batman justice (after fiascos of Batman 3 & 4), but Nolan has proven himself to be better making Batman than Burton did. I'm sure another director (if cast right) can become Spider-man's Chris Nolan.

Great news:up: I wish they were as enthusiastic to make more X-Men movies.

If anyone is to blame for X3 it is Fox. And it is ironic because you complained about Arad and went on to write a terribly ****ty synopsis.
A snynopsis of a 2 hour plus film is not 6 sentences. I merely wrote who I wish would appear in the 3rd film. I am not a writer and neither are you. Arad had the power to alter Fox...he didn't. He was a little cash ****e sitting there wanting to make money just like Fox did. If he wanted to see his companies beloved characters be done just in a movie...he would have done so. I believe him leaving has something to do with the huge backlash X3 caused. And since when is wishing Arad had been gone prior to X3 is compalining??? and what does that have to do with a quick fan summary...are you Arad's nephew or something.

Your a horrid writer. And Arad can't really tell Fox to do ****. They have the rights. I don't feel like getting in another pointless argument with an idiot so lets jsut drop it shall we.

I say SM4 is Electro, and Lizard at the end. Doctor Connors is studying remains of the symbiote that Spider-Man defeated in the evil Venom. It has regenerative abilities and Connors slowly begins transforming into the Lizard. Max Dillon, an electrician that worked at the plant alongside Ben Parker was on a routine inspection of the company's transformers. He is up on the line and a storm rolls in and blasts the line...zapping Dillon onto the transformers where he receives massive amounts of electricity. Dillon doesn't know what to do and misses a lot of work as the lights and electricity around him continues to go on and off. He is angered and kills his boss unknowingly. He turns to crime and fights Spidey. The Lizard takes over Connors at the middle and he has two villians to worry about. The remaining symbiote escapes and finds Brock in his jail cell for the cliffhanger.

^You know they could have Max Dillion as an electrician, but we first should see him at his house getting ready for work, showing all the overdue bills he has,an ex-wife and her new boyfriend who stops by,and is chewing him out for more money or something while the new boyfriend is pushing him around and breaking his things.Just show how crumby his life is,and how he is tired of it.

Then you can have him working on the transformers that are in the sewers, and when spidey and the Lizard have a fight down there,Max Dillion could get tossed into the transformers when spidey dodges the Lizard's tail, and the tail hits Max.

And when Max Dillion wakes up from being unconscious, and finds out about his special powers,he decides to make everyone pay.His ex-wife wants her electric bill paid,he will give her all the juice she wants.

Hopefully this news will finally put an end to all the people saying that 3 is the last movie. I'm so tired of hearing that.

It Wouldnt Make Any Sense To Stop Making Spidey Movies After All The Success. They Would Have To Be Crazy.

They should end it at 3 and be done with it.

Yeah that makes total sense. 50 years of spiderman history and we've seen Green Goblin, Doc Ock, and now the symbiote/Venom, & Sandman...yeah that's wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much. There's no way 50 years of comics with multiple ongoing series could stir up enough source material for more than 3 films. How stupid are people.

Sony would be stupid to make a 4th because of Batman and Robin. Every 3rd sequel will be like that. There's no way around it.

Why?

Well its not possible for the movies remain good if they continue.

Of course the studio wants more movies, it´s their license to print money every couple years, but will Raimi stay? Will Tobey stay? As the many superhero movies made in the last few years have demonstrated, Raimi´s vision and craft on the Spidey movies won´t be easy to replace.

i'd rather they left really. i imagine that every 6-9 years thay'd replace every one with a new bunch starting with the same contractual obligations as when spidey one was being made. get decent talent again and keep them for 6-9 years. making 3 films.

it might take a few years to find the right talent again in the first place. waiting for the next person who can play parker well is hard enough and getting that in synch with the right people for other roles is difficult aswell. but with the huge amount of actors around it's doable.

anyway in that senario you get the turn over of bond films in actors. and the continity of trilogies.once it's been successfully done once, people will be fine with it. could even get Gore Verbinski in as director if he's done with Pirates. he's certainly experienced with action, drama and adventure, in practical and CG effects. let him read the comics and find his cast from there. then all that's needed is a good script. some benind the scenes people can be kept for some continuety of style. but i want my spectacular spider-man trilogy rather than my amazing spider-man trilogy. if you get what i mean. each comic has been handled differently over the years and decades. and i think the movies should reflect that. by taking cues from a particular series.

Well, if Raimi, cast and crew comes back, then I am fine :)

But if they don't, then we can expect new Batman Forever and Batman&Robin movies :( :down

Totally agreed.

I'm really worried about the future of SM movies after 3...

I hope this one dosent end up like Batman and robin
That stands for
BAR

yeah me too....the question isnt "how many more villains are there?" it's can "we make a movie that is better than the previous one?"
Plus think how repetitive it will get if they keep milking it?

Exactly.

The movies will be fine with or without Raimi/Maguire, damn you idiots think that every movie is going to end up like Batman and Robin. No one cared about that sh:tty franchise for good reasons. Various directors directed Harry Potter films and they're doing f---ing great. If you wanna worry about a franchise, look no further than Superman in Bryan Singer hands.
