I like this show. It needs a second season. Do you want geeks rioting at your door AMC?!?! Huh?!?!

It does well compared to AMC dramas like Breaking Bad and The Killing and is 100x cheaper to produce. However I wouldn't expect it to air after The Walking Dead for their second season. The Walking Dead is one of the top shows in America (network & cable) and CBM isn't holding onto it's massive lead in so AMC would be better off putting a new show after it (maybe their Goodfellas show in the works).

but couldn't we assume that CBM's ratings are only relatively good exactly because it's paired with the highest rated show on Cable? And I guess technically it's a better pairing with TWD due to related source material, than anything else coming on AMC?

This show needs a second season just so they can go to SDCC. They should also add Blair Butler the comic girl from G4 and feature stuff like Free Comic Book Day and 24 Comic Book day.

Well there is only one way to find that out, airing it on a different night (they could pair it with comic book/sci-fi movies). It is cheap programming so if a second season "fails" they'll still make money and maybe gained some viewers who tuned in. While pairing it with TWD makes sense, the majority of viewers aren't comic book readers, they just want a entertaining show. So the 1 million watching is probably about right, they're the ones who at one point bought comics in their life.

I just wish the Talking Dead came on right after the Walking Dead and then this came on after that. That would be the best lineup for me.

TWD used to air the new ep at 9, the re-air immediately at 10, and then TD at 11. They should go back to that. I can never stay up late enough on Sunday to watch it live.

and now a hot girl buys some rare comics

"I have no idea how much its worth..lemmie get a hold of a guy I know. He's a godzilla expert." wtf? LOL

The whole season was wrapped before the first episode aired.

So they planned ahead. Not hard to do. Since this show has no story order. They air a hot chick appearance sooner rather then later

what the hell?? I bought one of those Godzilla figure once for 40 bucks!

I doubt any comic store keeps 10K in the cash machine and looks like next week another hot girl with comics

the guy who bargained at the beginning (Mike?) of this episode is way better than the squirrel-looking guy (Walt?) is.

And zombie promotion? I'm sure The Walking Dead being on the same network had nothing to do with that. :whatever:

And there's no getting around it, Bryan does look like Dumbledore ****ed a mushroom, and he's an ******* to boot.

Walt is such an a-hole.
He seems especially the rudest to Ming like for example in the beginning of the episode where Walt is asking what is the greatest superhero fight in comics and he then teases Ming for choosing Superman vs. Batman but not specifying what comic issue.

And yet Walt said his favorite was Hulk vs. The Thing but he didn't say which comic or which issue number, I mean c'mon man, the Hulk and Thing have fought endlessly over the years, why does everybody pick on Ming because he's Asian?

I know!!! I dunno man, it bugs the hell out of me. I almost wanna buy a plane ticket to Jersey just so I can call him out on all his ****.

to be fair, Ming didn't even know what Crisis on Infinite Earths was.

If there's somebody that works at a comic shop that knows as little about comic books as Ming seems to, I would probably find a different comic shop.
