it just urks me when i see a ****ty desgn of a classic character. although its fanmade you can obviously tell he has no real visual taste.

It's a completely different take on the character and that's what makes it cool

well if you look at his arms,legs and feet, thier a bit unproportional. his arms almost looks like popeye's.

Wow, thread left in the dust!

This was the first game I had ever played, and was the first game (aside from Wii sports) that i played when I got my Wii. A new Kid Icarus game would be the knockout punch that Nintendo could use. Mario, with Pit on one side and Samus on the other??? As of right now, 360 could match up with Halo, Gears, and maybe Mass Effect when it comes out. PS3 is loosing its exclusitivity left and right. A new game could put them over the top!

why has it been so overlooked though?

Im not sure,maybe in terms of scope..Mario and Metroid are bigger.But i think this franchise should be given new life.
