Yes they would but after a while you would hopefully like more and more people being brought into your franchise if the quality of game is high.

You cant expect the first game in the franchise to sell more than 2mil copies. You flat out cannot.

If its on the Wii, if its made from Nintendo, if the quality of game is there, if its marketed properly (which Metroid Prime 3 wasn't) then they can reach 2 million world wide. Nintendo has done a great job marketing the system but not their games. Metroid Prime 1 had over 2 million but MP2, as said in the article, had decent multiplayer and was very hard for the Western gamer which turned people off, plus again poor marketing and released close to Halo 2. If the momentum was better perhaps MP3 would have better sales.

Maybe you can't expect more than 2 million but you should aim, at least try. The marketing should aim to sell the game, not "well we expect to sell a million based on the loyal fanbase so lets just have a preview channel and release Super Metroid on the Virtual Console. Now lets have lunch!" Halo 3 went overkill on the marketing but its seemed to have paid off.

Metroid Prime 3 is a great game, deserves better game sales but came up short for marketing it. Metroid Prime seemed like a great way to revive the franchise (as each game sold less and less) and it has the awards, nominations and great reviews but sales should've been better.

So if Nintendo has a chance to bring back a dormant franchise and use the gamers from Brawl as a potential audience, it should hope to sell very well.

I do like that cover, and believe that that is what Pit will look like in the new game.

The second picture is how he could evolve in further games, but change the costume. The coat doesn't need to be that big.

That last one is horrible, though.
