Does anyone remember the fight scene between The Bride and Gogo in the first Kill Bill? Well, anyway, I would LOVE to see a scene similar to that in TDK. I understand that Nolan wants the fight scenes to be more brutal, real, and less fancy or whatever. But, I think a scene like that would be pretty cool.

I and others were disappointed by the fight scenes in Batman Begins. So, something like that would be a much needed improvement.

In that fight scene, does someone's limb get cut off and blood splatters everywhere?

If so, then HELL NO.

If not, then sure.

Um...I don't think he was referring to the violence. WE ALL KNOW this movie will be PG-13. I think he was talking about a fight scene similar in the sense of the weapon that Gogo was using!

No Kill Bill over-the-top fights in a Batman movie, thanks. I liked it in Kill Bill, would not like it in Batman. That'd be like putting gravy on apple pie. BLECH.

there are some fight scenes in kill bill that i think could work for TDK...but for the most part, KB fight scenes were pretty stylized and over the top and were made to fit that particular film.

but i do think the fight scenes in TDK do need to be far more improved than what we saw in BB. im all for nolans idea of raw, brutal, and not look like a dance....but you still need to be able to see the fight and not have everything be an extreme close up with fifty million cuts.

That's what I hated about the Batman Begins fight scenes!

It's funny, I'm watching an old Eastwood movie (from the mid-70's) on Spike TV right now; he's a cop and he's with this woman on the run in Arizona. They jumped a freight train and some bikers in the boxcar decided to kick the crap out of him because he'd commandeered their bike earlier.

Well, when they're attacking him all you can see is faces and fists, and arms; it's shakicam, blurred and frantic, and you couldn't tell what the hell was going on.

It reminded me of the Begins fights. You know, I think it's fine the way those fights were done, but it really wouldn't hurt to see more of the action this time. I think Begins established him as this shadowy figure that pounces and jacks the bad guys; now they could show us more of his moves.

I don't even mind of some of the fights are done the Begins way, because I had no problem with them, but, yeah. I like to see fights, so, I wouldn't complan if I could see them more clearly this time.

The movie you're talking about is called The Gaunlet. Richard Donner ripped off the movie last year with 16 Blocks.

Most people complained about how disappointed they were with the fight scenes, so if Nolan is smart he'll fix that.

The fights should be like kung-fu in space. Think Mortal Kombat Annihilation meets Jason X. That's got Oscar written all over it.

I personaly didn't like some of the Jason Bourne fights, i thought that it was even worse the BB's fights. I think a casino Royale style fight would be a great idea though.

Maybe some Bruce Lee type fight scenes would kick ass! :)

All I can say is Ken Watanabe's Rahs-Al-Ghul decoy died way too fast. Least Ducard/the real Rahs put up a more decent fight against Bruce.

Now The Joker isn't much of a fighter but he sometimes can be a trickster and play dirty. Here's hoping he does that and throws in a few punches and kicks to Batman.
