Knightfall Animation Feature????

One of the best batman stories ever told was knightfall, I believe it can be extremely bad ass, violent and epic, I was not satisfied with batman gotham knight, and I've recently saw wolverine vs hulk/thor vs hulk, superman doomsday was perfect, but batman knightfall into an animated feature film, straight to dvd can be seen as a stand alone project, strictly adapted from the comics, no connection with batman begins and the dark knight, what do you guys think? I can just see it in my mind, batman bleeding, bane breaking batmans back, azrael taking over the bat suit, epic scenes of batman being trained by lady shiva, and batman coming back more hard and brutal, this can truly be an epic feature that will make alot of money, knightfall was packed with action and substance...

Some people hated the Knightfall story line, but I actually liked it. I remember when it came out, when I was 11-12, and I would just draw the new-suit over and over again. I thought it was really cool, and have the original books at my parents house. Do they have a collective graphic novel of all the books? I would like to pick it up and read again.

Anyways, you mentioned you wanted it to be styled like the Superman: Doomsday movie? I rather it be stylized like the HBO Spawn series.

I wish they would do more animated Batman movies, but some people complain how it would interfere with Nolans movies. I always hate it when people say that.

Yea, they have a collective graphic novel, I believe its on amazon, only reason I said styled like the superman doomsday movie is because, the action, fighting and violence in that movie kicked ass!!! epic battles lol, the spawn animation is good, but a little outdated for mainstream. I believe knightfall can depict the brutalness and true violent nature of a batman who loses control and regains power by mere will, if done properly with a good written psychological narrative and some kick ass action, then I feel it can be one hell of a animated feature.

I liked Knightfall, I think it's a shame this story hasn't been addressed outside of the comics in at least a condensed format. The appearance of Bane in TAS was a letdown and B&R was a travesty.

The closest thing we've gotten, ironically, has been from the much maligned series The Batman in the episode "Traction". Great one, too.

Either way, I would like a Knightfall adaptation. Whether it's straight up or adaptation in the way TDK was sort of an adaptation of TLH. If it's good I would be very happy.
