I have a feeling I'm going to enjoy this more than Godzilla.

The cinematography and the soundtrack is amazing.

John Goodman,Sam Jackson,Tom Hiddlestone and Brie Larson in the movie, now that is a really impressive cast.

That kong tho, he's freaking HUGE. Definitely hyped for this now.

Vogt-Robert's beard game is on point.

I'm really hoping this film is good. Not only because I love King Kong, but because Vogt-Roberts is lined up to direct Metal Gear. A slam-dunk here would make me feel more confident with that film, if it even happens. Though he was quoted recently as saying that it's still happening.

I don't think you can top Kojima's games. They're already pretty much movies so I just don't see the point but I hope Arad doesn't **** all over Roberts. Which could very well happen.

Im glad kongs size is the biggest yet. If hes going to take on godzilla they should be somewhat equal. The face strikes me as similar to the 1980s one with jeff bridges.

Godzilla is still over twice his size (350 feet). This new Kong is somewhere in the vicinity of 100 - 150 feet.

But considering Monarch and the potential shared universe are part of this story then it is very much a part of this story. I don't think the 2005 sized Kong word stand up very well to the 1970s American Military.

I agree. but the godzilla vs KK movie now needs to happen. Of course this would not be a problem if they made Godilla 2016 with a versus movie in mind. then they would made Godzilla smaller IMO.

i have normal expectations for this movie and i also liked this trailer a lot. But i fear that the size could be a problem. I know its a movie but there is not enough food on that island.

Kong will juice. I hear he's training with the Gracie's as well. Godzilla of course is well versed in Muay Thai, Judo and holds a black belt in Kyokoshin Kai.

i dont need to think about how a floating car works in a scifi movie. i dont need to think about what godzilla eats. but i will think about food when it comes to a colossal ape living on an island.

One of the problems I had with Godzilla was that it was often too dark to see what was going on, this was made even worse on Blu Ray. Kong seems to be taking place more in daylight.

This looks ****ing dope! And for those who complained about edwards godzilla having bland characters, vogt-roberts is pretty strong in that area. And with these visuals? Seems like hes got that one-two punch

Agree with this. I normally don't complain about the darkness of films on Blu-ray. But man, even with the best contrast ratio available for HDTVs, Godzilla was hard to see...especially his entrance at the airport (love the intro).

Holy ****, I think I crapped my pants after watching that trailer! The dragonfly bit piqued my interest but by the end it had my full attention, especially with that musical score! This is now my #1 most-anticipated movie & film soundtrack of next year!
