Kong: Skull Island - Part 1

I do wonder if we'll get some easter eggs though, particularly in regards to John Goodman.

A part of me thinks he might turn out to be associated with Monarch.

The cinematography and the soundtrack is amazing.

John Goodman,Sam Jackson,Tom Hiddlestone and Brie Larson in the movie, now that is a really impressive cast.

That kong tho, he's freaking HUGE. Definitely hyped for this now.

I was actually more amused by the Comic Con Panel than the trailer itself. That isn't to say I'm not looking forward to it, but that John Goodman is a funny dude.

I love me some john goodman. For me, few actors can make you laugh till milk squirts out your nose in one film then turns around and scares the he11 out of you in his next one.

I think Kong looked fantastic, enjoyed the trailer a lot.
That spider, yoh! I've got a couple family members who will soil themselves at that!

Goodman almost looks like he's playing the same character he played in 10 Cloverfield Lane. Not that I'm complaining; he was awesome in that movie.

I've never really followed King Kong closely, and while this looks fantastic, I've always wondered.....why does everyone go ape **** (pardon the pun) over King Kong but not all the other giant creatures on that island? It's like "Omg a giant gorilla!!!!.....oh and there's a couple of dinosaurs here too. Meh. But a giant gorilla!!!!"

The main story was always about the blonde women who was sacrificed to this beast so he was immediately in the focus. And he was really the king of the island. He was the one natives were terrified of and he was the one who was able to beat every other beast on the island. More so Kong was more intelligent than dinosaurs and much more similar to us, he was possessed of some personality, hence the larger interest in him than in other creatures.

Because the Dinosaur is a deer and King Kong is a Lion.
