Seriously - how the hell can something that size hide or stay off radars?

Underground caverns. Look it up, it's quite fascinating.

That TV spot tho. The shot with Kong's face behind the smoke is just hnnnng.

Ha, it's 12:30 AM here, so I'll be going to sleep now and when I wake up, I'll have me some trailer :D

Eventually he's gotta come out of a cavern and something that size would turn up on various surveying mechanisms (perhaps a satellite).

He's obviously not gonna be as big as the posters depict him. That's just for dramatic effect.

They did the same with Godzilla's size in the poster department.

Godzilla was pretty damn big...

What about that German tv spot? in that shot where Sam Jackson is staring him down, Kong looks HUUGEE, like the same size as Godzilla almost.

He didn't dwarf over San Francisco like the main poster showed, now did he? :oldrazz:

And Harry, of course he's gonna look huge. What did you expect? But I guarantee you he won't be as big as he's being depicted in the posters.

How deep is that water they're heading into? :o

Or maybe Skull Island disrupts radar and satellite tech, especially ones from the 70's.

They partially explained this in the 70s Kong film didn't they? Something about a heavy fog bank that permantly resides over the island?

If they don't have a Kong version of this shot I feel that they would miss a great opportunity.

Which really pissed me off. I was expecting Godzilla to tower over skyscrapers not skyscrapers falling on him and make him lick the ground like a b****.
