Interesting. CGI still needs a lot of work in some places, but thats normal for trailers. I like the design for the "skull crawlers". I really like John C Reily, and his character looks like a lot of fun, but it also feels like it runs in the opposite direction that the rest of the film wants to go. We'll see.

I think this is gonna be great, and the island creatures and Kong look great. I think this trailer included a few too many Jon c reily lines which will hopefully feel more natural in the full movie.

The same thing happened in Godzilla. The only time I remember Godzilla attacking the humans in that movie was when the army shot at him when he got really close to the bridge. Also just replace the Mutos with Skull Crawlers and it looks like the same plot of giant monster fights more vicious giant monster.

Kong doesn't seem like that much of an ******* anymore though. Hmm. I am not sure about the trailer. I love the monsters part. Kong walking on two legs will take some getting used to.

That's why I'm surprised, it feels so similar to Godzilla. Dunno why to do that, thought it would be much more different, but it's just a trailer, who knows how it's gonna play out.

Congratulations, you have distilled the kaiju genre down to its essence. If "giant monsters fight" is all you can see, than good luck.
