100x100 if anyone wants it,

I'll take it. Thanks.

Didn't expect that tone... And certainly not John C. Reilly being all comedic Denis Hopper. Will watch again tonight and see if I get used to it. One thing I'm certain of though... This movie is very, very pretty.

Kong walking on two legs will take some getting used to.
He walked on two legs in the 1933 and 1976 versions. In that remake he walked upright just like in this. I liked the trailer. I wouldn't make Kong that big but I'm so happy that we are getting a new King Kong movie.

I am pretty baffled by this trailer.

It looks... fun, maybe? I don't know about John C Reilly in this. I had missed that he was ever cast and he seems to be in full comedy mode in this edit.

Overall it seems like they cranked the colors to Fury Road levels.

This movie might deliver as an exciting monster mash. I like the whole military research angle they're going with.

I really don't know what to make of that trailer. Was not expecting that tone.

So that skull crawler with the two big front arms, and the tail for the body, that appears to be directly based off of a monster in the original film. If you watch the scene when all the men are thrown off the log (setting up the deleted spider sequence) a big front armed, tail bodied lizard monster crawls up at Jack Driscoll as he hides in the cave from Kong. Kong flicks the monster off the rock.

Zack Snyder is a talantless tool who destroyed the DC universe. You keep him away!

Amazing trailer! Literally had me clapping...admittedly, I had my reservations at first but this movie is shaping up to be something amazing. :D

I don't agree with you, like at all but okay......

No problem, just different opinions ;)

Very good trailer. Visually it looks amazing. And I loved the humor from John. C. Reilly. It looks like a Marvel film - great visuals and balance between drama, action and humor. The movie entered my Top 10 Anticipated Films for 2017.

I hate the tone. The first trailer was far more impressive.

Not what I was expecting, but I loved the tone of the trailer because of one thing. This day and age a lot of films are serious. As a 90s kid I miss this kind of tone. It reminds me in a way of the Mummy films, Evolution as well as the 90s monster and alien cartoons I loved. I miss these kinds of popcorn movies, there's not that many of them anymore (my favorite blockbuster films of this year being Doctor Strange and Jungle Book), I'm definitely excited. So while some may complain that it's not serious, I love that it'll be one of the few films that isn't. Plus, I'm looking for escapism now more than ever.

That's where I am too, I have no idea what to make of the trailer. The John C Reilly stuff was just weird...

Weird trailer. It's all very pretty though.

John C. Reilly just really threw the whole thing off for me. I feel like if you took his bits out of the trailer, I'd have a pretty clear view of the movie, but the comedy of his scenes seemed so broad...

We're cool man. I don't think Zack is the best director or one of the best directors out there but he's far from a talentless hack. :)

For the bold part, I agree and I was already hyped and this trailer showed enough bits to get me even more excited. The humor part was weird tho.

I think it's just a surprise of tone for many. A lot were looking for a serious action or monster film, whereas in actuality it's a blockbuster adventure comedy with monsters in it. Tone wise it's very similar to the Mummy movies (especially Mummy Returns), Ghostbusters, Evolution, Godzilla (90s and being honest still my favorite), Men In Black, Mars Attacks, Eight Legged Freaks, etc. It has an almost Joe Dante or Fred Dekker vibe to it. As said, the tone at least for me feels consistent throughout when seen for the genre it is. As someone who loves films like this, this trailer made me excited for it since as said these films aren't around that often anymore.

Zach Snyder has talents but they are pretty limited to a narrow band of the total range of responsibilities that directors have.

On that note, I still need to see Kings of Summer as I have no idea what the director of this film is like through his work.
