Kung Fu Panda turned into a series?

I heard Nick was making Kung Fu Panda into a series, can any one give me any thing confirming this for me? I'm a huge fan of the movie t:

That's just a rumor, nothing is official. There is however talk of possible sequels, 5 to be exact.
