L.A. Noire (PS3, 360)

I just want to see some serious gameplay. Yes the graphics are awesome, but I need to see other than interrogations and looking at crime scene what it's like to play the game

and I havent played Mafia II in full. But sometimes there can be cursing in a song, movie, etc. that is so excessive that it seems like its written by a young kid who just learned what curse words are

I didnt play that much Mafia, but from the amount that i played, it seemed like a fair representation of what the media deems to be Mafia like behavior. I mean like UninspiredCup stated, watch an episode of the Sopranos and you'll hear the same stuff.

Mafia II was great. I think the lingo is a bit too modern to be utterly believable, but it feels like a mix between today and then, that works pretty well.

I would of played the hell out of Mafia II if i liked gangster/mobster flicks. I hated the Godfather and only saw like 2 episodes of the Sopranos. Much rather be on the side whose taking down the mob/gangsters. Thats why this game is sitting at the top of my list of most wanted titles. Im been waiting for a true detective game for a long long time. I just hope the game doesnt turn out to be a gun fight during every mission.

IMO, Mafia II was better than GTA IV. I think you'd enjoy it. (Ps, I bought it over Bloodstone, haha.)

Yea, ill play through it at some point, but like i said, not a fan of the gangster flick.

Still looking for what the non-interrogation gameplay with be like before I make a solid judgment, but my interest is there.

Even though it's nice with another trailer I agree, I'm curious to see how the gameplay is when investigating a crime scene and also outside the investigation and interrogation like chasing criminals etc.

This game keeps looking better & better. Red Dead really blew me away, so I'm eagerly anticipating this game. Hope we get some gameplay footage soon.

I dont know, i kind of like the "openness" of the GTA games. I also like games like this that will be more linear, but id like GTA to stay GTA.

I would really like a gameplay demo showing the open world side and how you activate missions. They've said that this isn't like a GTA game so I think they should clairfy that properly.
