Nolan, rightfully, interprets Batman as a lone hero and not part of the JLA. He further configures his Batman to live in a realistic Gotham that is about one traffic sign name away from being Chicago. He doesn't want to see a guy in a blue suit from an alien world flying in his Gotham.

Call it right or wrong. I agree with that. Now WB may make their JL movie one day and include Batman. But Nolan, Bale and the like will have no part in it. Even if the movie pretends to be in continuity with BB, TDK and assumingly BB3.
