    How is it?

I played Lego Batman and really enjoyed it, but haven't tried LOTR yet. It looked great from the previews.

It starts with the opening war and what follows, those characters are unlocked for free play
Cutscene moves to the Hobbit in his house talking to Gandalf, gives him the ring and tells him to give it to Frodo, the story as the movies happen
Free roaming in the village, meet the other guys, escape that Darth Vader with the Force like thing in the woods
Mission 2 has an interlude involving [blackout]the fight between Ian McKellen and Christopher Lee (they look great in their Lego forms)[/blackout]
Completed two story missions, it's fun, plays pretty much like LEGO Batman 2

Why? It has the best swinging of the games I have on PC, and the best swing kick in any Spidey game
I like being able to cause injury to pedestrians to take them to the hospital and fulfill these monotonous side quests, cause it's fun to do that

Finally sat down and played through Oblivion. Didn't enjoy it as much as Skyrim or FO3/NV. I did enjoy beating everything to death with my fists for 70 hours though.

How does 2 stack against the first one? I am in love with the first Bioshock but I've never played the sequel. I was seriously considering getting it but everything I've ever read makes it sound like a step down.
