The Dark Knight Latino Review: Script review coming soon...

Hopefully they'll have something posted real soon. I need Bat-info NOW!!!

On a side note, I've been intrigued by this Wolf Man remake since day one (despite it being a remake) simply based on the awesomeness of Benicio Del Toro. They gave AKW's script a solid review. Find a good director and we could actually have a GOOD movie on our hands (with an R rating no less!!!) I can't wait!

trust me, don't e-mail Latino Review. They probably have their e-mail boxes full.

Trust me, I tried.

So is this gonna be a script review of the finalized version?

Not sure, but I thought i heard it was of the treatment. Goyer and Nolan supposedly have an 80-page treatment for the next two movies. I wonder if that means LR also has the treatment for 3 then...

Well regardless I would love just get an idea of the movie I don't really wanna be spoiled. I hope it gives us the direction of where Nolan is going with the Joker.

I wish that WB and other studios would keep their scripts under lock and key and go to the farthest measure to protect them......

script reviews can have alot of impact though....

Like I said in a similar thread, don´t expect that script to be the movie we´ll see in 2008. It´s probably either a story treatment or an early draft that will only give a general idea. A lot of sites reviewed an early draft of BB and some people here complained like hell for MONTHS over certain aspects of it that ended up changed in the final result. The structure was similar, but there were some important differences in characterization and plot points.

also dont expect many spoilers. itll be as brief as literally whose init n if its good or not. we need someone to do spoiler script review or(hopefuly) leak the script again

I wouldn´t mind a leak of the story treatment, just to give a general idea of the story, but I don´t want them to leak a full script, I´d like to avoid being too spoiled - even though I won´t resist reading it if they leak it anyway...

I also don't want to be much spoiled, but I cant wait for this review :D

The reviews were glowing, especially the LR one, but the draft eventually leaked and some people here were complaining about certain aspects of it like the movie was going to be exactly like that, and it wasn´t. Among some changes, the execution scene at the temple was not in the draft, characters like Falcone and Ra´s were a little more fleshed out and Alfred had more conflict with Bruce in the final version, the final scene between Rachel and Bruce was different.

Thank God, I wasn't here, when it happened. I'd be depressed :D

Hope the same won't happen this time :)

Is it true that Jokercard scene wasn't in the script til ending was changed?

Oh yeah, the gang is all back...The funniest thing will be being called "Mr Positive" or "blind fanboy", after all the negative things I said about FF, Catwoman, Hulk, etc.

Ah, the good old days.

Remember though, our criticism may have improved the movie. In the first draft, Watanabe Ra's said NOTHING. In the final film, he had a mini soliloquy.

The only thing that I liked more about the draft than the final film was the original Falcone/ Batman confrontation. That scene rocked (with Bats holding the bullets that Falcone was missing)! Oh, and the Batman/ Judge Felan scene was damn cool, too.
