Laughing gas - Green mans kryptonite?

Since Bruce Banner has to become angry to transform into the hulk, why dont they just drug the hulk with laughing gas, causing him to be extremely happy? Wouldnt that cause the hulk to transform back into bruce banner, then banner could be easily defeated?

Just because a person is laughing, doesn't mean that they're happy.

Once he transforms into the Hulk, I don't think drugs or tranquilizers of any kind will affect him. The sheer gamma radiation his body produces would allow his metabolism to burn right through any foreign chemicals found in his body, except for those specially synthesized formulas Banner has managed to cook up, which can pacify the Hulk, if he's not too-too angry.
