The X-Men/Mansion can still exist. It's just a few mutants died. (It doesn't have to even be a big character that died, Jim said he left a lot of wiggle room in that regard).

They can obviously time travel, but I feel like just setting Deadpool in the 2020s (since the first film takes place over 5 years according to the shooting script and we don't get a specific year mentioned) would be good enough for us to naturally progress to 2029. Deadpool's shooting script even mentions the world looking "pre-post-Apocalyptic". Plus Cable has to come from somewhere back in time.

So there's ways to naturally integrate it. Not that they'll ever do it, but the pieces are more or less there I feel like to let it happen.

if they want to intergrate x-23 into larger x-men universe they easily can.have x-force be set after events of logan.deadpool 2 comes out in 2018

as they said to include characters in post logan setting.mutants seem to be in hiding after westchester incident.Laura could fill a wolverine type role in x-force.regardless i seriously doudt fox doesn't do anything with laura after her reception in logan.

X-force will probally be r rated too just like deadpool and it's sequels.fox poentally has post dark phoenix 6 or 7 x reated films from february 2019-march 2021 depending on if one if kid friendly ff reboot so a mangold directed
x-23 solo could be one of them.but,if they want x-23 to help them avoid a wolverine recast she likely has to be in films with more of x-universe.

exiles was also mentioned by hutch parker as poential future film and that is

What about Green Lantern and Flash. Barry and Hal were not the first. I think there is room for 2 Wolverines at least.

Also X23 is way better and less forced than Female Thor, Female Ironman. the new Hulk.

Jason Aaron's Thor is pretty friggin good with or without Jane Foster. Way above the quality of the majority of Marvel books over the years. I always get the vibe that most people don't read it and judge it just from the idea.

X-23 had her own solo and was created 10 years before this new trend of replacing all legacy characters, that's the major difference. She's not a gimmick and has been proved so long ago. Same with someone like say Kate Bishop.

Yeah I think that would be the plan. Have Mangold do an X23 movie in the future. Then by the end she travels back in time to be with the main team.

Just make it that she can't interact with Wolverine in case it threatens her existence.

I don't care when it started, she's not Wolverine. Her personality is ok but i don't see how she's a legitimate character when her whole shtick is Logan's.

Just make a new female character. Same goes for gay Iceman and stuff. Just make a new gay character and have him be gay without that being his whole personality. Or give Northstar a bigger role.

Also the DC versions of different Lanterns and Flashes don't bother me because in those worlds it was already established that there were multiple ones out there. Marvel is just shoehorning at the moment.

She is actually very different to Wolverine as a character. The movie showcases some of this. But in the comics she has different origins and her own personality traits.

Well apparently FOX had no idea who X23 even was and i imagine that if we see the character again it will be James Mangold deciding what happens there.

True. And yeah I don't see her being called Wolverine in the movies at all. She has her own identity now.

I'd rather see Ororo, Jean, Marie, Betsy, Lorna, Alison, Kitty, Emma first before a Lauramovie. She just screams so Wolverine 2.0. I need someone more fresh and different.

I agree it needs to be same actress.but,i can't imagine them not doing anything with x-23 after reception she got in logan.

I wouldn't mind if she doesn't comeback. The actress was good but I am not just a fan of the Wolverine clone since her first appearance in that cartoon show.
