I have NO doubt that Singer is going to deliver! I just know it! He loves Superman, and knows what the franchise needs to get bigger and more sucessful!

So the first film had Superman as a pensive god trying to find his place in the world, while the sequel envisages him as an angry god. Now, what would make a god really, really angry? The death of his son perhaps?

Jason kidnapped maybe? or worse? I lean towards kidnapped myself because I can't see a child being killed in a Superman film, even if its just implied. I could be wrong though.

According to Joel Silver Justice League has been delayed and will be recast at some point. Whether that's set in stone isn't known yet.

Like I said in my Screen Rant article, I was told by a good friend of mine who attended ShoWest that the WB executives were openly talking about how Justice League had been cancelled. I double and triple-checked through a couple of contacts who confirmed that, yes JLA is dead.

It was only a matter of time before someone broke the story. If it wasn't Devin from CHUD, then it would have been someone else...

Right now, WB is focusing on the Superman and Batman sequels. There have been rumors (albeit unconfirmed) that Jonathon Nolan has already worked up a treatment of some form for Batman III.

The way I see it, the best thing for WB & Co. to do is a World's Finest-type film with Routh and Bale a few years down the line (i.e. once the Supes sequels and Bats trilogy are finished!)

Now maybe they can focus on M.O.S. and deliver us a kickbutt sequel that most want.

As for J.L., I don't mind waiting if it means a better cast down the road sometime. I just wish W.B. would have the heroes crossover in each others films like marvels doing, that could set up a J.L. film for the future.
