This has to be the most DLC I've seen announced for a game pre-release that I've ever seen. It is all cool stuff, though, it's just I've never seen such a blitz of DLC before a game even comes out before.

Question to those who have been following this game more closely than I have: are there many playable female characters in this? My friend is interested in this game, particularly for her daughter, but they'd like it if there was a nice assemblage of female characters for her to play since she doesn't want to play as the boys all the time.

The great thing about Lego games is that they try to make their rosters as huge as possible, so that includes plenty of female characters. Wonder Woman, Black Canary, Hawkgirl, Huntress, Harley Quinn, Batgirl, Catwoman, Star Sapphire, Indigo-1, Cheetah, Stargirl, Supergirl, Ms. Martian, Inque, Bleez, Faora, Felicity and Lara Lor-Van are some of the confirmed characters. I'm guessing the ones from previous games like Zatanna and Katana will also join in as well.

The only ones I really want in this game are Cass Cain and Stephanie Brown/Spoiler, though I'm not holding my breath.

It won't have the season pass, as will neither the Vita or 3DS version of the game. It's not been specified if that means you won't be able to buy them individually or not, but odds are on not.

As far as Darkseid goes, I'd think they would hold him out for a sequel. Lego Marvel did have Thanos in it, but he was DLC. There were several notable characters who didn't make the cut for that one either, most of the notable ones seemed to be tied to the X-Men franchise.

I don't think they'll be in it as much as that video makes it seem. Well Smith and O'Brien at least. I read somewhere that Conan is the in-game guide, a role that Clark Gregg had in Lego Marvel. I'm not sure what Kevin Smith is doing, but maybe he will be in charge of the "red bricks". Steven Amell wanting to be the voice of Green Arrow is pretty cool, and I'd think he'd have a pretty big role in storyline mode since he is one of the main DC heroes.
