Yeah I think we aren't getting movie based Spidey villains which is perfectly fine by me.

Phoenix needs to be confirmed. She's been making it into most Marvel games lately so Im fairly confident in her being here. Just hope Im not wrong

I'd bet on Wolverine, Storm, Cyclops, Phoenix, Emma Frost, Shadowcat, Nightcrawler, Colossus, Iceman, Rogue, Gambit, Beast and Professor X at the very least.

take that back! She tends to be one of the better characters in the games that feature her

Perhaps I should rephrase, rather than take it back. She's a fine character, but most versions of her are terrible.

How cool would it be if Thor could target (multiple) objects with Mjolnir like Batman's batarangs or Legolas' bow and arrow? I think I heard that Cap will be able to do that with the shield, though I'm not sure.

Which is why she's one of the best characters in both Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 & Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 (she was the best character in plain MvC3, but they nerfed her).
