The latest games, the best hardware, exciting infotainment and edutainment, fun sports areas, shows, premieres and celebrities - for four years now, all this has made the GC into THE event of the year.
Its concept is unique and extremely successful: on the one hand GC Games + Entertainment with out and out entertainment and hands-on experience in the halls, and on the other in the GC Business Center, the right sort of quiet atmosphere for doing business. This all-in concept is rounded off by the separate GC family section where it's all about learning on the computer and media literacy, and also by the GCDC, the international GC Developer Conference held in the run-up to the fair.

They all come to Leipzig for the GC: the industry, developers, retailers, the public and the media.

I think there is a better chance of ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT getting picked up for another season

So far we know of new MGS4 and MGSPO trailer, 5 new Wii games. Those are the big news items for LGC, also, PS3 will not be playable at the event, but Sony has said that they'll be making two announcements over the course of the trade show.
