Doesnt look like we are going to get a sequel.

I always thought the Hulk was just as popular as Spidey. I thought he would attract a lot of people wanting to see a movie of his.........the movie has done ok numbers.....not sure why the public doesnt embrace him so much. And I dont think Iron Man is so much better known then Hulk.maybe its just the whole origin thing.

I think the writing has been on a wall for a very long time that Marvel wouldn't be doing a TIH sequel. It is a shame because I really dug the film, but it is what it is.

Harrison Ford's career as Indy Jones has spanned decades, so I'm not too worried about a TIH 2 coming in 2014 (2013)...it's a matter of Marvel getting some really strong performances on the next 3 films, to get better terms for the next financing deal.

Here's the thing though; If the Avengers movie does well, and they greenlight a Hulk sequel, i think they need to drop the whole "Betty Ross" angle, and just go for a full blown out battle between the Hulk and the Leader/Abomination/Humanoids...

Hell, have The Leader take over Gamma Base and threaten the world with Nuculear devastation...something along those lines.
This calls for a new thread:

I don't think they are going to be coming out with a sequel to TIH 20 years later...

Yet you think we will get another Superman film...

I agree we won't get a sequel... but I do think we will see the Hulk in another film following Avengers... sooner than later.

Just use some other characters then... I am thinking get Pym or Donald Blake in there as major supporting players. Plenty of options. I think Hulk should be written as more intelligent as well... like when Hulk had all or most of the abilities as Banner in the comics even though he was trapped in the Hulk form. Just so it isn't "Hulk Smash" every five seconds.

Well for one thing, Indiana Jones was one of the most popular film series and franchises in the history of cinema.

The Hulk isn't. In fact, comparing Hulk and Indy is pretty silly.

I wasnt comparing them, Showtimes comment to me said they wont ever be coming out with a Hulk sequel, thats what I was querying.

It's a shame. I really enjoyed TIH and thought it was an improvement over the '03 effort.

I just hope that the plot threads left unresolved get some conclusion in the Avengers. I think they could've easily had the TIH sequel lead directly into that film.

The Incredible Hulk will get a sequel.
The fact that it wasn't mentioned only means:
They haven't come uh a script,a plot,a director etc...
So what is there to announce. All it means is that they are still kicking the idea around and how it may all fall into play.

Don't worry they will mention it give them time.

They can't wait too long, though. The actors aren't getting younger with time.

I still say delay Avengers another year and do TIH 2 in 2012.

^^I would agree with this. In fact, you can take the endings of IM2, TIH2, Cap, and Thor and mesh them to form the plot of the Avengers.

Sorry guys, Marvel's not going to delay Avengers any further for a Hulk sequel few people want to see.

They shouldn't put off Avengers which has more potential for a possibly volatile Hulk sequel as well as Norton being Norton.

Feige said Hulk had his chance and its time to do these other characters now.

Guys. The ship has failed. It's time to let it go for now.

The Hulk boards are gone for a reason.
