Since I'm one of the few around these parts who still love Nintendo, it's only right that I create the E3 thread as I did last year.
Nintendo has purchased the time for a two hour event/conference this year, which is different than their usual 1 hr show. This will be good due to the new hardware they will be showing, but hopefully will also give plenty of time for new games/software.
So as far as things we know will be at E3:
3DS
Zelda Wii
Vitality Sensor
Things I hope to see during their conference:
Pikmin 3 - Please Nintendo
Starfox Wii - Double please
Retro's new game
New info on Sakurai's new studio and what they are working on
I potentially think this could be a great year for Nintendo, as it started off strong with SMG2, Sin & Punishment 2, Monster Hunter Tri, and Metroid: Other M.
They have some great stuff lined up for the rest of the year, including awesome DS games like Golden Sun and Dragon Quest IX (which is being published by Nintendo). With all this awesome stuff early in the year it leaves alot of room for new games in the second half of the year.
I'm really looking forward to tons of info on the 3DS, which sounds very interesting, and I'm even looking to get some info on the Vitality Sensor and hopefully some uses for it in-game. Also I'm hoping to get news that Xenoblade and The Last Story are being localized, as well as info on Wii Party (which they announced in Japan and is the spiritual successor to Mario Party, which looks oddly compelling.)
No matter what happens, I can't wait for E3 to start, as all three companies need to come out swinging and show us why we still care about this industry.
