Sci-Fi Leonardo DiCaprio enters "The Twilight Zone"

I've gotten a big kick out of Michael Bay's career thus far, to the point where I've even enjoyed his Transformers trilogy, but he's not good enough to lick dog **** off the bottom of Rod Serling's shoe.

He needs to stay far..... faaar away from this.

I'd rather see Nolan get his Howard Hughes biopic underway.

Nolan would be spectacular for Twilight Zone. While I love Bay's movies, he just isn't the right director for this type of movie at all.

If Bay wants a TV property to adapt to film: Six Million Dollar Man. Go to town, Michael. But stay away from this. :o

My vote goes to Nolan. But I'm not sure how I feel about it not being an anthology. It just seems like they're slapping the Twilight Zone title onto something that doesn't need it, really.

I dont know about choosing Bay. His style is more directed toward highly stylized action movies and Twilight Zone is anything but highly stylized action, lol.

Really odd for the studio to include his name in the mix for directors.

Nolan or Cuaron would be amazing.

I hope Bay's name gets scratched out. I just don't think it fits his style.

Nolan. He needs to do a project like that that steeps itself in weird fiction and fantasy to get rid of the Nolan and his t3h realisms notion.

I think 'The Howling Man' would be a good candidate to adapt. Maybe also that one episode where the museum curator takes in wax dummies of famous serial killers and they turn out to be alive.

My favorte epsdioe oddesy flight 33, time enouht at last and monster due on maple street. Ifyou didn't knowthey already made twlight zone movie back in 1980s it differnt twligth zone epsidoes into one moive it out on bluray i got it on blu ray last year.

Christopher Nolan.
Leonardo DiCaprio.
The Twilight Zone.
A clean pair of shorts.

Can't really see this working as a film without it feeling like a random one off tv episode with a big budget. Kind of how The Box and The Forgotten felt.

Unless the "zone" itself is the centre of the story and not just a random event, but the actual twilight zone as another universe/region or something.

Leo hasn't made a step wrong career wise though, so this will most likely end up good.

Well, that's what he's good at. Chris himself has admitted that he works within certain artistic boundaries that suit his tastes well. And he's fine with that. Not everyone can be a Spielbergian genre sponge.

With that said -- Cuaron. The guy does not get enough work for all the brilliance he holds.

It's become commonplace to automatically knee-jerk Bay when his name is mentioned, but there is something insanely sublime about him possibly directing a Twilight Zone movie. I actually want to see what he'd do.

Let's see how Bay's low budget film works out before we write him off. I'm open to him. But Cauron would make a great choice. Nolan is more of a dream studio choice who may want to do original work after Batman. Though Lord, if Nolan attached himself to this.... *looks at rising pants*

If they did a 4-segment movie like the 80's one, who would you pick for the 4 different directors?

I'd pick:

1. Christopher Nolan
2. David Fincher
3. Darren Aronofsky
4. M. Night Shyamalan (He needs a comeback, and a short film of 20 min might be up his alley.)

Hell, I'd throw Frank Darabont in there, too.

Part of me wants to see what Micheal Bay would do with a Twilight Zone movie. Admittedly, it's a dark and deeply disturbed part of me. Even better, maybe Micheal Bay can star in a segment and it would be about him living in a world with no explosions.

Is Leo attached to star in this or is he just producing it? His production company produces a lot of films.
