Lethal Weapon V

Sweet! Lethal Weapon 4 was such an improvement over part 3 and I'm a sucker for sequels so hopefully everybody signs on.

I might check Lethal Weapon 5 out,Lethal Weapon 4 was pretty terrible IMO.

Part 3 had the best opening scene next to Part 4. I guess Martin's kid will get involved somehow this time as well

Yes, GOD YES!!

I love the way Shane writes, he was missed in 3 and 4. Bring them all back for one final movie..please.

I think we're going to have one big year sometime soon with all of these sequels they're planning on releasing: 'The Goonies 2', 'Lethal Weapon 5', 'Tr2n', and a few others I believe. I can pretty much guess that they're going to have all of these films released in the same year as one another and, I can only hope for the best for all of them because I loved the originals.

This is an odd news peice.

Shane didnt even want to do LW2 and now hes doing 5. And Mel has been saying no forever. I guess he needs to shape up after his public persona.

"We're gettin' too old for this ****!"

:D :D
That's what I picture them saying at the end, along with every other 'Lethal Weapon' fan. Sort of a trademark for the series, I guess, like John McClane's "Yippee Kiya, Mother %$^!er".

Part 4 was pretty bad but I'd be willing to give another outing a chance.

If Stallone can do Rocky Balboa and Rambo Glover and Gibson can do Lethal Weapon 5 and maybe Road Warrior sequel i think an actor like Mel at his age wants a break but then when its done. Then getting the acting bug back. Happens to all actors.

Bring it on! Those movies were the cat's ass. I love the ol' buddy/cop type of flicks ant the Leathel Weapons are the best.

They'd still have to get Donner to direct, and the rest of the "gang" to come back though: Joe Pesci, Rene Russo, Chris Rock, and the Murtaugh family also.

the Murtaugh family I dont think has ever been in anything else

(i mean Im sure they might have been but Im just exaggerrating)

They're gonna chase some villain named Goldberg, played by Michael Richards

I know a lot of people are getting sick of old movie series being brought back after a long time but this one just like Die Hard, I'm definitely going to catch if it comes true.

Excellent. With Shane Black and hopefully the original crew back, I'd catch this film in a heartbeat.

I wish hollywood and washed up actors would just move on.

I agree, I cant wait for the some like it hot remake...............you just know Hollycrap isnt ashamed to sink that low.

If Donner directs, and it is in fact from a screenplay by Shane Black, I say go for it. Sh**, let Black direct from his script!! I'm still baffled by the handling of Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and the resulting underperformance commercially, but critics and fans (who have seen it) loved it. Joel Silver would be behind it, I think. I say bring it on! Rocky came back, and most people enjoyed it. Die Hard came back, even didn't even mind the theatrical version, so when the unrated DVD came out, they were just floored.

All things considered, I say let it happen!!
