Lexus has created an actual working hoverboard

Another example of science fiction becoming science fact.

C'mon Jurassic Park!

Psssht, hoverboard, how primitive and literal. I am currently working on a genome for a species of walking tree that can actually get out of here.

You do realize bringing an inanimate object to life will automatically cause it to rebel against those who abused it for so long.

It only works on metal surfaces, so it's pretty much useless right now.

Not if we line some sidewalks with metal strips. Imagine 50 people riding boards down the street like some insane conga line!

Yes! Everyone's gonna adopt it, like the Segway!!

Oh wait...

Only works on metal surfaces smh. But cool nonetheless.

I find it a little appalling that it's taken this long, tbh. :o

We don't even have flying cars yet, which we were supposed to have in 2005. Science fact moves a lot slower than science fiction.

It just needs to be in hot pink, yellow and lime green. Then I'll buy it no question

This is old news as I heard about this fall of last year.....

Psh...metal surfaces...and they won't install metal surfaces on sidewalks. Mother earth likes to create natural inclines and pot holes in our walkways/driveways and I can see a lawsuit stemming with a giant metal shard poking out and some kid finds it.

*reports post*

2015 is finally here. Now bring on the flying cars and shoes that tie themselves :)
