Do you think that there are other ways to achieve life aside from those seen on Earth?
Life is who you are, Liberty is what you can do, Property is what you make. Cherish all these things, and don't allow anyone to take any of it away.
There's a thread on "Life!" already. Here it is.

No apologies necessary and there was no toe stepping. Just thought since the thread already exists, it's best to continue the discussion rather than start a new one. Unless you feel that the two threads' topic are entirely different.Okay, sorry for stepping on your toes there. Merge if necessary.
Do you then believe that breathing constitutes to being alive? For me, being alive means more than just breathing. Being alive means how you live (including your relationship with the people around you and your surroundings) and how you nourish your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual state. I think that my life is defined by what I do and how I affect others.Okay, we've merged.
I'll answer my own questions to get the convo going.
I believe that life is a very abstract thing to define, my personal belief is that anything that can die, is alive. The requirements for life here on Earth are limited, and I think the concept of being alive is broader than that. I believe in a life energy that dissipates upon death, whether you want to call it a soul or not is up to you (I feel that way).
It's as hard to define Life to encompass everything that can be attached to it. Just like it's hard to define Love. But I do agree that "it's something, first and foremost, to be enjoyed."Well, I mean that physically something that lives must die. Whether or not respiration is required, I don't know.
Figuratively, life is so much more. It's something, first and foremost, to enjoy.
Do you think every human life has an equal value or are some more valuable than others?
I lean towards absurdism, but find the argument against suicide a little lacking. Camus is my faux God![]()
Suicide is just selfish here in the western world, it transfers all the angst you have to you closest loved ones who are left wondering after you kill yourself.
