Limitless - CBS Continuation of the Film

The Limitless movie was more of a thriller as was The Dark Fields book the movie was based on.

The Tv show is a comedy drama procedural. You can notice the shift in tone of the tv show after the first few episodes when it found its own identity. The Senator Morra plot is the thriller hangover element from the book/movie.

Well, the case wasn't that fun, but some good stuff with Brian's life falling apart. Really looking forward to the rest of the season now.

[BLACKOUT]Piper's back!!![/BLACKOUT]

The cases aren't so much the interesting part of the show as his personal life and the conspiracy around NZT are now.

Brian rocking the Joy Division t-shirt. Nice Elbow track to close out the episode.

They really cranked up the staked vis-a-vis the Senator Morra angle this week. With Sands now in the crosshairs of the entire department and not just Rebecca I'm curious to see where they go with that.

Got to admit, I did not see that final twist coming. [BLACKOUT]Sands potentially on NZT is freaking terrifying. [/BLACKOUT] I am glad that Bradley Cooper is willing to show up every now and again, but they really need to do a better job at digitally entering him into the show.

The case was a really sidelined, though Stavros really came through.

I do like that Rebecca and Boyle were a bit at odds with her trying to figure out the connection between Brian and Morra.

And that ending was great. I am curious what Morra's plan to deal with Sands is.

Really liked the first part of the finale. Ready to see how the season ends and any hint towards a possible season 2 arc

Had a feeling that the roundup of all those people was a smokescreen for something larger, just like Clay Meeks said it was and by how he disappeared in front of Brian. It'll be interesting to see how the season ends as the preview for next week's episode looks to be action-packed.

I like Meeks as the ongoing villain next season. Morra is difficult due to Cooper's schedule. I did like seeing that having NZT widely available isn't exactly a good thing.

That was a good finale. Wrapped up just about everything, with just enough to set up for next season. That ending was perfect, though. More Stavros!!!

I do hope Piper returns. Not going to lie, I've developed a crush on Georgina Haig. But, I like her and Brian. And would love to see her and Brian on a few more cases together.

I love Brian/Piper scenes but I also love Brian/Rebecca scenes.

REALLY hoping it gets a season 2 pickup since it hasn't been decided yet. :whatever:

It most likely has, it just hasn't been announced. I am quite hopeful.

As much as I would have like if Haig would return, she's signed onto a CW show so likely won't be able to show up much, if at all.

Now that Ike finally got his real name out there, I'm going to miss Brian's Mike and Ike quips. About the only good thing is that now him and Jason/Mike are part of the squad and will likely be getting some action scenes.

This better get a second season. This was, by far, the biggest surprise I've ever seen. I seriously thought this show was going to bomb, but nope, it happened to be one of the best shows this year.

Not positive but I think it was already confirmed to get a second season.

Not confirmed, though they seem to talk very positively about their new shows. and this was one of their better performing new shows (after Supergirl).

It was a really good finale. The last bit with Piper returning out of the blue seemed a little dopey and kinda forced but apart from that minor gripe, the finale was very good.

Aw man. CBS really doesn't want me watching their shows.

Limitless sounds like a good fit for USA Network now you mention it Hunter Rider.
