I have this dire need to watch a zombie movie but I can't seem to figure out which one to watch, so Im coming to you guys to give me some good suggestions.

Romero's Dead flicks
Shaun of the Dead
28 Days Later
28 Weeks Later

House of the Dead (only if you're drinking)
Rabid
Shivers
The Crazies

The Return of the Living Dead (drinking helps this one also)
The Signal
Evil Dead series
Demons 1 + 2

Italics are not quite the usual walking dead 'zombie'

I really rate Snyders Dawn Of The Dead remake.

28 days later is also good until Dr Who and his gang turn up .... then it gets bad fast!

Recently, Dawn of the Dead Directors Cut. it has really held up, and I actually appreciate it more NOW.

I'm sorry, but Dr. Who is the name of the show, the character is called The Doctor. :whatever:

:cwink:

Versus

Good old Japanese fun. A lot of action and not much substance. Plenty of violence and gore. But it's a really fun movie.

ill add another one, Planet Terror

Those are my favorites.

Any of you guys see the trailer for Colin? That looks like it could be interesting...

lucio fulci's zombie (aka zombi 2) is an all time favorite. easily one of the best zombie movies put to film.

I love 28 Weeks Later and Planet Terror.

imo 28 days latter > 28 weeks latter
and also i love your avvy

I've seen both and I actually liked Weeks alot better. I've been meaning to buy it on Blu-Ray recently.

I love yours as well. Not even kidding.

I've owned Weeks on dvd for over 2 years and have never been in the mood to watch it. Is it seriously good, like I should go watch it now and come back good?

its alright, imo if you saw Days before and watch this, its decent
i love the opening scene to Weeks though

:wow::up:
Wow, I've never met anybody that has actually seen this. I was really surprised at this one, I thought it'd be a mildly entertaining horror movie but it was really really awesome. Especially with the low budget they had. Although I wouldn't really label this as a zombie movie.

BTW, has anybody seen Pontypool?

I recommend the Night of the Living Dead remake directed by Tom Savini in the early 90's. Surprisingly good for a remake, almost as good as the original. Also, It stars Tony Todd. :woot:

Yeah. That's why I put in the category of the "not walking dead" zombie flicks. The movie has 'infected' and you can easily get that way. So it is sort of like a zombie flick in which you have some 'survivors' fighting to live against a much larger number of crazies.

^Oh, I didn't see the little message at the bottom.
There are some really good 'zombie' flicks that don't have zombie zombies. Which is why I had to do that. Especially to mention 28 Days Later.

28 Days Later
Shaun of the Dead
28 Weeks Later
Zach Snyder's Dawn of the Dead

I love the idea of zombie movies but I hate most of them. I'm banking on 28 Months to be good and Z Day.
