What genre do you classify his movies in?

He's being a smart ass.

If Zombie was to get a comic book property it should be something exceedingly dark and twisted like Hellblazer or Preacher imo

He actually had his own comics quite a few years back. One was based on the Firefly family(of course) and there was another one or two that were also horror based. I never got around to reading any of them though.

The thing is I actually like House of 1000 Corpses and Devil's Rejects, but I was looking forward to him doing something different.


Lords of Salem is a mostly okay movie that you can just outright watch run out of money and sputter out. RZ has spoken about the money troubles and how much they had to cut from his original script and plans, basically most of the ending and most of Ken Foree's role.

Really?! Dammit....

Actually I think this could be pretty good. Mainly because it's being written by Ellis and not Zombie himself.
