A. Go for a Joy ride into space and:
1. Have you and your buddies get bombarded with cosmic rays.
2. get experimented on by aliens just passing through who either:
A. bring you to the peak of their opinion of perfection.
B. They decide you are "Broken" and "fix" you.
C. They maximize your potencial as a being,...
3. Make a deal with an Alien to do whatever he wants as long as he spares your planet.
4. get absorbed by a creature who can destroy all that is because it heard you whining as you were falling back to earth.
B. You are dealing with scientists and their "why not?" devices and:
1. You arrive at almost ground zero to save an idiot teen from being cooked by your homemade Gamma bomb.
(and get caught in the blast.)
2. You decide that being a Janitor is not good enough so you put yourself in the path of gamma radiation.
3. You figure if you can't beat em,.. join em and give yourself a milder form of gamma that changes your hair color.
4. You let someone use Ionic energy on you to gain Superpowers to allow you to whoop a thundergod and his buddies.
5. You injest particles that give you the ability to change size.
6. You take a bath in chemicals that gives you strength beyond belief.
7. You get a serum and "vitai rays" to make your 98 lb weakling frame into peak human goodness.
8. You injest a root that along with your families natural immunity to the poison in the root enhances you physically.
9. You get caught in a kinetic explosion.
10. You get bit by a radioactive something and gain it's primary abilities.
11. You get subjected to dna splicing that gives you the attributes of some other creature.
12. You get a blood transfusion from a relative with super powers.
