"Live Action" Bambi in the works

Don't know how something could possibly be worse than Lion King 2019, but we'll see. :funny:

"Live action" Song of the South, where the animated parts are all live action and the live action parts are all animated.

Since the original Bambi was 70 minutes and relatively barebones compared to The Lion King, there's more opportunity for them to expand on the story. Since it'll more than likely be small scale, it could end up surprising us.

They could just adapt the novel which is more detailed.

I'm calling it: Worst Disney Live Action Remake. Prove me wrong, Disney+.

You haven't been paying attention, there is still hope for one to top that list!

LOL with some imagineering/fake news!
I wish ;) How far can they go with these endless live-action remakes?:funny:

The resemblance is uncanny, they may have been separated at birth.

Some fat-cat (played by Alec Baldwin) peg-leg chasing them across the boarder! ? :woot:
A Magical bullet-proof flying Serape, a singing tequila worm, princesa Ana de Armas, and you know the rest!
This thing writes itself.

The idea of following the trend of everything being recast in live-action, is meant to be a bit outrageous.:cwink:

Donald, ...José Carioca and Panchito Pistoles, as a traveling trio, which could be ripe for some reinvention.
:D

Alec Baldwin as Peg Leg Pete would be perfect lol

Are we still talking about Bambi?

No, sorry about the derail, Peg Leg Pete will not be in Bambi. he will oficially unofficially be in the Live Action Three Caballeros.- Now revived it in the general Disney Live Action thread- The official Disney Classics Live-Action Remakes

As for Bambi (and Lion King) not sure why these count for "live action", when Bambi will also be almost entirely cg animals. Which is computer generated animation.
Unless they actually were trained live action animals acting.
Or went the Wham-Bam-Bambi rout, then that would actually be a live action Bambi!

I had the same isue when Lion King was announced "live action" , I honestly thought it would be people playing African King, Queen a Prince, etc pretty much Disney's Hamlet set in an African Kingdom.
I honestly thought that would be beautiful, until i saw the trailer, what was the point?

And there it is!

Although, I guess I hadn't been flowing it closely- I honestly thought when they announced Live Action it was going to be "live action" people, as in with all these great actors actually playing humans. LOL!
Like pretty much Hamlet set in an African Kingdom, with the human King, Queen, Warriors (Young Prince) etc, having a Lion pride theme; regalia and armor.
And we'd finally get an African Disney Princess, in Nala .

Not much of an issue to me. They can call it what ever they want but they're remakes for sure
