I want to say Gunn asked on Twitter about what he should do for Christmas Specials. I could be dreaming that lol. But my top two is Lobo: Paramilitary Christmas Special, & Larfleeze Christmas Special (even if animated. Love that story.)

Of course a Lobo movie would have to be (visually and otherwise) distinct. It's fraggin' Lobo!

Stay true to the Keith Giffen and Alan Grant stories and you've got a BANGER movie!

Lobo is similar to deadpool in that you CANNOT do him justice by neutering him.
Yes, even in supergirl he needs to throw some F bombs and other curse words, and have the cigar AND the space Harley.
IF he gets a solo, then that should be a hard R.

Agreed. I think the plan from Gunn is to try and make Lobo the DCU version of Deadpool. I expect his movies to be rated “R” and you have DC cosmic characters heroes and villains that can be introduced.

I know Lobo has tons of stories to choose from, but for a solo film I really think the Paramilitary Christmas Special is the perfect story for a movie. It’s so cinematic- the Easter bunny hiring Lobo to kill Santa is a great concept.

Maybe it doesn’t have to be the whole plot of the movie, but I’d really love to see that story on film.

If not though, there’s always the short film. Arguably the greatest fan film ever…

I'm not a huge fan of Lobo but Momoa feels like such a perfect casting, and now I really want to see it. This also shows my crappy memory. When I learned he was gonna be in Supergirl: VOT, my first thought was: "Typical, I've forgotten about his part in that story even though I've read it twice". Of course it turns out he wasn't even in there lol. I'm getting senile..

As someone who has been championing Lobo in live action for over a decade... Couldn't be happier as a fan. Top 3 character for me, along with Green Lantern (Hal.) Gunn really delivering for me personally! Just get me Larfleeze and I can die a happy DC fan death lol!
