I've read the plot synopsis on wikipedia so I know how it ends. The film sounds incredible, like on a par with TDK, as elevating itself above the genre.
The thing is, I feel like it's too tragic - and given how uncertain the state of the world is now, I'm not sure I can take seeing
I know this is a spoiler thread, but I've been growled at for using spoiler tags even in those, by militant anti-spoiler people, so I'm just being cautious here.
cheers.

the death of two of my favorite characters, sure maybe Logan dies well saving those kids, and he always had to die someday, but I feel like it might be too depressing. OR, do you get a feeling of redemption, like he found everything that was good and noble about him in giving up his life for the kids.
What I'm saying is, is how bleak is the ending ? If it's uplifting, I'll rush out and see it, but if not, well......I'll wait awhile.
So what say you folks who've seen it?
