Check out this trailer of Brandon Routh coaching a Native American lacrosse team. Looks hilariously bad. I knock Routh's acting a lot, but he really doesn't seem terrible here. The material just looks awful. And just to add insult to injury, they couldn't find a better song to use in the trailer than that god-awful CHUMBAWUMBA song we all tried so hard to forget 12 years ago?

Some of the comments by the youtube users are priceless: "It was so inspiring when they learned not to run into trees."

Is this the only work Routh can get now? I enjoyed him in Superman Returns and its just sad to see this.

Watch him in Dylan Dog and you might understand.

LOL, yeah. This is actually a step UP from Dylan Dung.

damn, i was hoping him playing a who gives a crap character would help him boost his career. turns out, it just ruins it.

But on the plus side... he does make wearing feathers in your hair badass again. Kinda.

This is direct to dvd right?

I know I know, redundant question.

Routh should be doing more "Cost of Living" type of work. The guy needs a better agent.

I wouldn't say ''Mighty Ducks"

Because those movies were actually good. :o

I will be paid to see this movie, right?

This movie came out in 1998 right? judging by the trailer.

Also why are they still casting white actors as native americans?

I couldn't tell... but most of them look like they're Native.

I was talking about routh. I believe that older native american man was supposed to be his father. I'd watch the trailer again to check but no...that's alrite.

Same here. Maybe he's supposed to be mixed race. Same for some of the kids on the team. Or they just all go to the same school.

Anyway, Routh looks better than of what I've seen of him. I haven't seen Dylan Dog because it looked pretty boring to me.

He just didn't catch on like he was supposed to. He had the look, and the door was wide open, but the fact that the thing was deemed kind of a failure, it hurt him, bad. He would still be getting offers, mediocre acting skills or no, had it been a hit.

Wow.. I mean.. I.. is this a windup film? a parody of "against all odds" type films?

I mean I thought Dylan Dog looked daft in the trailers but this takes the biscuit..

Sad to see him doing these sorts of films, while I didn't care for his performance or acting in Superman Returns.. hes above this sort of film/material.

Romantic comedy movies & looking for lead/important guest roles in TV are where he should be calling home for now.

Yeah, he really should be on a cable show or something right now. Cable tv has become shockingly esteemed as of late.

This might be one of those times that the race-casting activists will say, "You know, I think we're good. Go ahead and take that role from a minority actor."
