LOL Brandon Routh in Lacrosse version of The Mighty Ducks

I can't wait until Routh makes the transition to the "animals playing sports" genre.

Maybe he could make a cameo as Superman in a Krypto direct-to-DVD film.

Cain is too busy attending Rick Perry prayer-a-thons.

I can't explain it...but I actually LIKE Brandon Routh as an actor.

The shirtless scene seemed really out of place.

Just saw the trailer for this... I actually feel really embarrased for him :(

That role is reserved for Dean Cain.

How long before those two team up for a buddy film, full of tongue in cheek references to superman? Coming to a video store near you...

I've always felt that Cain would've made a better Capt. Marvel than Supes.

snow dogs 3 is calling his name.

I love how they show some random shirtless footage of him towards the end of the trailer.

Yeah, I'm sure people are really gonna suffer through 1.5-2 hours of ABC Family-ish piffle for a few seconds of sexiness.

The Superman Curse. Henry Cavill is next

It's not really a Curse. Superman did get Routh roles, they just weren't good ones.

Sam Worthington keeps getting roles so I don't think that it is Routh's acting that is keeping him from roles. Maybe he just has a ****** agent?

I've liked Brandon's work in most things he's done. Loved him as Supes/Clark. He was believable in that role, and many agree with that. I also liked him a lot in Chuck as uber villain Daniel Shaw. He was especially awesome in the christmas ep in season 5, IMO. He was also fantastic as Todd Ingram in Pilgrim.

I didn't like Dylan Dog, but I think he was decent in it. It was the script and direction that totally let him down, IMO.

Any way, I think Crooked Arrows looks like a fun, feel good family movie. And the early feedback is that it's worth watching.

I don't find Brandon being that good of an actor but he can be solid and he is a very sympathetic guy so it still feels bad seeing him in a film like this.

Don't say that man. It might prove to be true, but we don't know that yet. The only actor who I believe was really "cursed" by Superman was George Reeves, who literally got cut out of a major movie because they thought people would laugh at "Superman" being in it. Reeve was never really "cursed." He shot himself in the foot, turning down roles that could have propelled his career further in favor of other ones.

Routh is getting these roles because Superman Returns was an underwhelming movie and because he's not a very good actor.

Well i think for reeves and reeve the "curse" also refers to the tragic events that befell them. The suspicious suicide of reeves and the accident to reeve.
