Well, when I went to church yesterday a couple of sisters were giving out pins saying lol? I was like wtf in my head. And I realized what lol truely means.

Love Our Lord.:oldrazz:

Wow another religious nut bag.

LOL actually stands for "Lactating Out Loud." Didn't you get the memo?

In the hype encyclopedia or whatever it's called, someone said ROFL stood for right out f***ing loud. That's not right either. It's rolling on the floor, laughing. I like that better, anyway. :yay:

It aint official until he approves

maybe the sisters were trying to be "hip" and "cool" in a love our lord kind of way? They probably wanted to get in touch with the younger generation who chat online and IM all day.

I think people who write 'lol' on forums should all be killed.

I just used it that time for example, I never use it though- it is for ****** internet *****.

Seconded. I really, really hate people who use that phrase, as if smilies don't exist for expression of an emotion. It's even worse when they think they're being funny and use it in real life.

I understand if you literally are laughing out loud. Same with rotfl. Please be rolling on the floor, so I can curb stomp your ass....

I combat people who actually roll on the floor laughing with the Yellow Stream of Justice.

If I ever interacted w/ someone in real life who actually said it, I would struggle to not punch them in the jaw.

One of the reasons I really hate losers who use the term on forums is because 99% of the time whatever they are referencing is simply not funny AT ALL.

If I find stuff funny in a forum I just type- hahahahahahah.
I guess I generally dislike all internet shorthand, but that one is just not cool.

There's nothing wrong with lol when used in moderation.:)

We already disagree, we don't need to agree to it.
