She's not in charge of what Harley wears. But MrsKent is right. No one said she can't show off skin so I don't know why you keep bringing it up.
You guys love putting words into people's mouths. I never said we should get to look at her legs, but I'm definitely not going to complain about it. Obviously no one complained when Cavill got his kit off in Man of Steel, but that's double standards for you. I don't particularly care what a character looks like as long as the thing I'm watching is good. I never once get distracted by costumes in films like The Dark Knight, because they simply don't matter. Then you have films like The Amazing Spider-Man 2 which gave us a great looking Spider-Man costume, but it also gave us 142 of complete garbage.
whatSome people did complain about Cavill being shirtless in MOS. I remember some people saying it made them uncomfortable. And at least he didn't have to run around like that for the whole movie. I'm hoping Margot has more than that one costume as well.
Also this isn't what you seemed to be saying before. You seemed to be complaining about people focusing on a character's looks in a thread where people were just cheering about how her outfit shows her butt cheeks a page ago. It didn't make any sense.
My apologies if that wasn't what you were saying.

Some people have certain phobias. Naked skin. That's quite a condition.Yeah, I'm a straight guy for goodness sakes and I wasn't even a little bit uncomfortable. It was actually impressive what Cavill did to his body.
That's not what I said though is it. A lot of comic book fans care more about what a character looks like rather than the performance they get from the actor.
I think they were intimidated by that look.what

I'll care as much as I feel like caring about what a character looks like. What you care about in a movie is also a matter of opinion.
Now in the case of these hot pants, I don't care a whole lot, but I do think they play into her overall gaudy look well. If Mrs. Kent doesn't like them, okay. If Astro13Zombie does, okay. If they don't matter to you, okay.
I agree with this entire statement. As a straight male when I saw what was able to accomplish I was highly impressed. I instantly remembered Brandon Routh's shirtless scene in Superman Returns and leaned over to my buddy and told him that Cavill's shirtless scene was already better than Routh's. I was far from uncomfortable. Some people just have issues with the human body and think that if a woman shows some skin is less of a person or some such ****. Since being on here since 2011 I just had to ignore my first person...what a shame.
Jesus. Imagine the rage if they went with the Arkham look, with her t**s almost out.
I don't understand it either man.
People are aware that I wasn't saying I was against all shirtless scenes for male characters, right? It's just something I heard other people talking about and I only brought it up because someone else mentioned Cavill.
Also, don't people think they might be over-reacting a little? There's no rage here. I think I've stated my opinion on the costume quite calmly and I'm not saying she should be covered head-to-toe. I was just hoping for a skirt or tight trousers instead of hotpants. Is that really uber-crazy and prudish? I just don't get some of these reactions. I didn't call anyone a pervert for liking it. It's simply not my preference.
Of course!People are aware that I wasn't saying I was against all shirtless scenes for male characters, right? It's just something I heard other people talking about and I only brought it up because someone else mentioned Cavill.
