As a "tactic" to try to find out more of these nut guys on Arkham and try to cure them.. She dressed and blended as one of them then bla bla Joker transformed her into Harley then Joker throw her at the acid container with her "disguise" and she got permanent look on that. At least we know know

Classic, all of the way. Bruce Timm's original design was excellent, and did a great job of giving Harley a striking, original theme while still interlinking it with The Joker via the playing card motif. The only change I would make is to swap out the rather awkward domino mask for painted black diamonds around the eyes.

The "modern" designs are just a predictable attempt to devise ****ty variants on the original.

Either which way, no matter big or small, the diamond shape makes her look more disturbing. I think because it adds to the impression of a crazy frown with sharp points and if she smiles, my word
