How's Brother Swan like? I mean in terms of character. not so much acting-wise.

He's 0k. There isn't much to his character (he's basically a generic cult member doing his leader's bidding and running errands) but that's also my general take on every single cast member.

I didn't like Mandy. It was a lot of things but it wasn't good.

It was great to see Nic Cage get totally unhinged but the overall movie didn't do much for me.

TV - DC Trinity back then could have been - George Reeves (Superman), Adam West (Batman) and Lynda Carter (Wonder Woman)

But....they played their respective characters in completely different decades.... :o

Just finished Maniac, man that was awesome!

Half way through the season I was just enjoying "organically", in a merely aesthetic abstraction type of way, but the way they tied up things at the end really took if from "cool" to "beautiful" in my book.

It's the most Terry Gilliam-esque thing I've seen in ages, and that my friends...

Ayer finally opening up a bit more on the changes made to Suicide Squad.

It's great he's getting more candid about what happened since he was playing good soldier for a long time.

You ignore my post or something? :o :p

I ain't linking folks to TMZ trash site.

Gotta say, its very uncharacteristic of WB/DC to be sharing so much from the production of one of their DC films this early. I was fully expecting Joker to be shrouded in mystery until the film came out. We barely got anything at all from Aquaman before that first trailer came out.

Not complaining, just saying its a pleasant surprise that theyte willing to share so much especially so early in production. They must be really wanting to drum up goodwill from the fans.

A big thing here is that unlike Aquaman, this looks to be doing a lot of shooting out in public instead of on sets. This means people were gonna get a look at the costume regardless, and WB probably wanted to get out in front of it. Every time a comic book movie shoots outdoors and someone ends up with the first pictures of a costume, the internet has a collective meltdown.

In the other Joker related news.

“It is great. The whole thing starts with Harley kidnapping Dr. Phil. Played by Dr Phil hopefully. Because her and the Joker are having problems with their relationship,”
Joker and Harley Quinn spinoff writers tease a 'Bad Santa,' 'This Is Us' mashup

:barf:

It's the same reason Patty/Gal released those WW84 images because the next day their were set pics of Pine & Gal

So that's actually his Joker make up, I just thought that was a joke and a link to previous incarnations, or is this all pre-chemical spillage.

I think it's makeup again, ala Heath. No chemicals or acids.

Really digging it.

Even so, this doesn't mean that this is necessarily his final look in the movie (his look could still evolve/change in the events that occur in the movie after this scene); that said, I'd love it if they stick to this. I love this look for what they're doing.

There might even not be any "chemical bath" in this incarnation...that's the whole thing, this is another interpretation of the character, as countless before.

Personally, that's what has me interested.

I wasn't very interested in seeing it in the first place, that's just nail in coffin for me.

Tag was stupid hilarious and heartwarming.

The whole Sherlock Holmes-like tagging sequences almost opened my stitches. :funny:
