I wouldn't even know how to describe it....I guess you could say is dark/awkward comedy...?? I'd say it's "real" in the sense that most of the comedy comes from ****ed up day to day situations....but at the same time there a good dose of absurd/surreal feel to some of those situations...I saw someone describe it as "the perfect outlet for Donald Glover's very peculiar type of humor" or something like that, and I guess I'd go with that...

Sounds like there hasn't been any movement on that Batgirl script in a while.

I still don't know whether Matt Reeves is interacting with people who will be making movies related to Batman mythos, like Batgirl, Suicide Squad 2, Birds of Prey. Has he even had any meeting with other DCEU directors ?

To me, it seems like he is developing his own Batman story in vacuum. I doubt if he ever met Gavin O' Conner or Cathy Yan or James Gunn or Christina Hodson.

Also, I would really like to know what discussions Matt Reeves had with Ben Affleck and Margot Robbie, if any.

Is it too much to ask for a unified vision for Batman characters and Batman ? I'm not even talking about Reeves consulting with James Wan, Patty Jenkins or Zack Snyder, just the people who are developing other Bat-related properties.

I agree. Morrison did that for New 52 Superman and the other book suffered for it and they did the same thing for Justice League when The Batman came out.
